Corps to host public scoping meetings for Buffalo Bayou and Tributaries Resiliency Study

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District will host five public scoping meetings starting April 30 to inform the public about the Buffalo Bayou and Tributaries Resiliency Study (BBTRS) and to seek input from the public on the study scope, potential alternatives that should be considered, and environmental resources of concern.

USACE Galveston District to host a public meeting for Matagorda Ship Channel Feasibility Study

GALVESTON, Texas (May 10, 2018) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District and the Calhoun Port Authority will host a meeting regarding the status of the Matagorda Ship Channel feasibility study on May 15, 2018, from 6–8 p.m. at the Bauer Exhibit Building, Henry Barber Way, County Road, Port Lavaca, TX 77979 to inform the public about the ongoing feasibility study activities for the Matagorda Ship Channel feasibility study and solicit public input regarding the study.

USACE Galveston District to host public meetings as part of Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay Study

GALVESTON, Texas (Sept. 23, 2015) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District, in coordination with the Texas General Land Office, will host two public meetings to provide an opportunity for the public to comment on the Coastal Storm Risk Reduction and Ecosystem Restoration Draft Integrated Feasibility Report and Environmental Impact Statement as part of the Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay Study in Texas.

Corps of Engineers to provide Addicks and Barker Dam Safety Program update

HOUSTON (Oct. 20, 2014) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District will hold a public meeting Oct. 29, 2014, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Bear Creek Community Center, 16001 Clay Road, Houston, TX 77084, to update area residents and business owners about the Addicks and Barker Dam Safety Program and the 2015 Addicks and Barker construction plans.
