Join us for the Galveston District's Winter 2022 Stakeholder Partnering Forum taking place Feb. 23-24, 2022. Speakers from USACE, industry, academia, and other fedreal government agencies will highlighting our joint commitment to addressing environmental and social Justice through the Navigation, Flood Risk Management, and Ecosystem Restoration Business lines.

Join us Feb. 23-24 for our Winter 2022 Virtual Portfolio Review Board and Stakeholder Partnering Forum.  The Galveston District conducts this semi-annual Forums with non-federal sponsors, customers and agency partners to collaborate on best practices regarding programs ranging from ecosystem restoration to flood risk management, maintaining and improving Texas coastal navigation systems, and regulatory oversight of U.S. waters at its Galveston headquarters. 

The theme for this event is “Environmental and social justice: integral to comprehensive coastal resiliency.”

The forum helps the Galveston District identify opportunities to better support  stakeholder commitments and emerging interests for Planning Studies, Preconstruction, Engineering and Design, Construction, Operations and Maintenance. It also serves as an  opportunity for non-federal sponsors, customers and agency partners from along the Texas coast to network and exchange ideas on ways the Galveston District is able to improve value delivery to the nation across civil works and regulatory business lines.

Feb. 23 from 8:30 a.m. - noon will be dedicated to the Galveston District's Project Portfolio Review. The Bi-Annual SPF will be held Feb. 24, 2022. There will be numerous speakers and a panel discussion from the Corps of Engineers, industry, academics, and other Federal and state government representatives. This is a day for highlighting our joint commitment to addressing environmental and social Justice through the Navigation, Flood Risk Management, and Ecosystem Restoration Business lines.  We look forward to seeing you there online.
