GALVESTON, Texas -- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District (SWG) and Cameron County leadership will hold an open house to share information about its Lower Rio Grande Valley Watershed Assessment, October 29, 2024
SWG will provide attendees information on the purpose of the assessment, including the study process and how to stay involved.
The district will also be seeking information from the public on water management challenges and opportunities as well as suggestions on what else to consider for the project.
SWG kicked off the Lower Rio Grande Valley Watershed Assessment, a watershed planning study, in 2023 to identify potential projects to address water resource needs in the region.
