The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District issued a Notice of Intent on June 2, 2023, opening the scoping input period for the Matagorda Ship Channel Project Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS).
A drop-in open house information session will be held June 7 between 6 and 8 p.m. at the Bauer Exhibit Hall in Calhoun County located at 186 Henry Barber Way in Port Lavaca, Texas.
